The Health & Fitness Center provides for a wide variety of recreational and intramural activities with a lot of amenities:

  • 3 multi-purpose gymnasium courts (2 wood, 1 sport court), with divider curtains, score clocks, and staging areas
  • 3,600 square foot fitness room featuring 36 Flex and Paramount machines, Iron-Grip plates, and other accessories
  • Cardio area featuring 18 cardio machines (Startrack treadmills, elliptical edge, steppers, upright bikes, and recumbent bikes)
  • 1,800 square foot aerobics/dance/karate studio
  • Elevated indoor running/walking track
  • 2 racquetball/handball courts
  • 6-lane intercollegiate swimming pool and whirlpool
  • Extensive Water and Floor Aerobics program
  • Personal trainers, full locker rooms, showers

Friday:  6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturday:  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sunday:  11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Cardio Sculpt: Combination of cardio and muscle sculpting exercises

Cycle X – Mix of cycling and strength exercises. Please bring a towel and a water bottle. If you are new to indoor cycling, make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to be correctly fitted on the bike.

H.I.I.T. – High Interval Intensity Training

Pilates—Practiced faithfully, Pilates will increase lung capacity, and circulation through deep breathing exercises. As well as strengthen the core and back muscles. Posture, balance, and coordination will also be enhanced through this practice. Done mostly on a mat on the floor. This class is offered in several versions, beginner, sculpt, and in combination with some traditional yoga postures.

PowerCycle: Indoor cycle provides a fitness journey for all levels that takes the training principles of bicycle racing brings them indoors, and blends them with a mind/muscle connection providing an aerobic workout that encourage you to find the champion within. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises. Please bring a towel and a water bottle. If you are new to indoor cycling, make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early to be correctly fitted on the bike.

PowerPilates – Total body workout to sculpt a rock-solid core and a lean body

Triple Threat: Cardio, strength, and core training in 20 or 30 minute segments
